How it worksThe draw
- All 48 teams are sorted by FIFA rank and split into six strength tiers of eight.
- Each player receives exactly one team from every tier.
- No player holds two teams from the same group.
- The draw is randomised but optimised to keep total squad strength balanced.
The scoring
Group stage: 3 points per win, 1 per draw (maximum 9 per team).
Knockout progression bonuses, cumulative — a team keeps the points for every round it clears:
| Reach the Round of 32 (qualified) | 5 |
| Reach the Round of 16 | 10 |
| Reach the Quarter-final | 18 |
| Reach the Semi-final | 30 |
| Reach the Final | 45 |
| Win the World Cup | 80 |
A player's score is the sum across their six teams of group points plus the deepest progression bonus reached. The table sorts by points, then goals for, then goal difference.
The 80-point champion bonus is calibrated so the winner's owner finishes top of the table about 92% of the time. The remaining ~8% goes to whoever has the broadest spread of deep runs across their six teams.
